Right Turn or Clockwise Turn: The turn which is taken by a person or thing in the direction of motion of the clock.
Example: A girl walks 2 Km East, turns right and walks 3 Km, again turns \(90^{o}\) in the clockwise direction and walks 2 Km. How far is she from her original position?
Answer: She is 3 Km far from her original position.
Left Turn or Anti-clockwise Turn: The turn which is taken by a person or thing in the direction, opposite to the motion of the clock.
Example: A boy walks 5 Km West, turns left and walks 3 Km, again turns \(90^{o}\) in the anti-clockwise direction and walks 5 Km. In which direction is he facing now?
Answer: He is facing East direction now.
