Addition and Subtraction Series: In this type of series, addition and subtraction take place alternatively to get the letters of the series.

Example(1): What will come in the place of question mark (?) in the given series?

Here 2 is added and 1 is subtracted, alternatively to get the next letters of the series.

Combined Series: When two or more than two series combined together and makes a new series then it is called the combined series.

There are two separate series in the given series ACEG and HFDB. In the series ACEG, 2 is added with the previous letter to get the next letter and in the series HFDB, 2 is subtracted from the previous letter to get the next letter.
